Aztek dolly

Just thought one or two boarders might be interested to know that an Aztek dolly/action figure is included in the second line of tie-in toys for 'Justice League Unlimited'. I've only ever seen it in a 3 pack but for all I know it may hav also shipped seperatley. Naturally it's in the animated stylee but it's pretty and pointy and has shiney bits.

And I'm also certain that some people won't be interested in this information but that's life.

Wow, that's rad. Was there an Aztek episode of Justice League Unlimited? I know i've seen him in the backgrounds in at least one, but I haven't seen an entire episode dedicated to him yet.

Sadly, Aztek is one of those character who is always in the background and never talks.

He did get a line or two in one of the final episodes of this season. Flashpoint, I think.

Aztek is a character who, I think, wouldn't integrate well with the JLU show. Mainly because the whole point of his character is blowing himself up to save the world. Well, that and shadowy conspiratorial organizations and Aztec deific names that sane white children should not pronounce ("Mommy, I learned lots 'bout the Aztecs t'day. D'y'know that one've their god's is named after a butterfly? But she's not a real butterfly, see, cuz the Aztecs called the knives that they used to cut out human hearts butterflies to!").

Those goofy Aztecs. And that goofy Aztek.

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but I'm finding it increasingly hard to love, or indeed 'stalk,'* George M in quite the same way that I used to.

Has he been as good since he got married to that woman? I'm not sure if he has.

*The police said that, not I. But I'm not all that bothered anymore, either way. These days, to be honest, like all right-thinking people, I'm more all about Sex!!!

Sax, that should've read. Sax.

Funnily enough, my publishers are bringing out a Sax action figure with 93 points of articulation and three working offices in time for Christmas. Buy one to play with, and one as an investment!

yo, JLU toys?

that's wicked, is there a question toy?

do these exist in the present or the future?

why is my life so sad?

Threadstarter may be overcompensating: if Aztek is six inches, then I am therefore not six, but twelve feet tall...

No, as far as I know there isn't a Question dolly just yet. Apart from constant rereleases of the obvious characters there's a Green Arrow, an Elongated Man, a Doctor Fate and pretty much no villains at all. I've been doing my best to find villains from the Batman Animated releases so that my Nephew can actually play with them.

If anyone has some that their kids have grown out of give me a shout...

Is the Elongated Man stretchy like Strrrreeeetccchhh Armstrong?

OK so how is a dolly different from an action figure?

A. The gender of the child who plays with (or, God help us, "collects") it.

For JSA fans, there is also an Atom Smasher, and a Wildcat. Also Metamorpho and as I saw at SDCC, an Orion. My daughter likes them, but perfers the smaller, more toylike ones that have faces that look like round lego pieces. Better for small hands...

Why in god's name does Prince Gavyn have a bent Cosmic Staff? Prince Gavyn always weilded a shepherd's crook because his powers were interal! Star Girl/Starspangled Kid II gets the Cosmic Staff!

That and fifteen quid's your answer right there.

(Incidentally, when I used to work at F*rb*dd*n Pl*n*t one of the highlights of my day was insisting on referring to action figures as dolls when serving the more, erm, earnest consumers. A pleasure matched only by the routine of saying "Star Trek? Is that that thing with the guys in the space rocket?")

Star Track? That's the one with Doctor Spock, innit?

Yeah, but wasn't Aztek co-authored by Morrison's padawan, Millar Mark-Kenobi? That's like having a comic written by Batman and Robin!

Rum and Coke. We'll start ordering it as a Jason Todd from now on.

Rum and Coke? We just call it Cuba Libre around here.

Round here we call that a dolly's drink. What you need is a real action figure's drink. Like meths.
