based on previous experience, don't join unless you're really really really sure, and I mean sure in a stake-your-life-on-it kind of way, that you're doing the right thing. Simply attempting to integrate your own paradigm with someone elses can be a major headfuck, and if there's even a tinge of malice in any group workings you can find yourself dealing with stuff that falls under the heading of an Outside Context Problem.

What the hell? Have fun and sit in on one of their rites, it can't be too much more boring than sitting in front of the tele and it may be an adventure.
