Could you really let that sigil go?
Performing the act of "slight of mind" with that one would be as close to impossible as you can get.

Also, it's doubtful that you're subconscious would really send the message for destruction of ego to the spiritual realm.

But then again, those who have tried it and succeeded wouldn't be here to tell us about it...

Well, what if your sigil was something like, I'll die on ::enter date here::? After a year maybe you'll forget and then BAM!

The sucky thing is that right before that date you're life probably would have fixed itself and you were gearing up to live a long happy one...

I think you'd need to do something a little grander in scale for death magick, sigil's are only one tool, if sigils could do everything, why bother with anything else?

To answer your question: No, I don't think it's possible. To be that specific about the time and style of one's dying requires a more conscious application of energy (ie specifically planning out one's demise). In using Magick you're sending your intent out to a universal energy, which may have other plans for you.

And even if they don't interfere you're going to need a reaaly huge amount of energy imput to get this thing to work. I reckon unless you're some sort of grand high whizzy-wig or something it's going to be more than one man job. Getting your friend to help may be a problem
