If anyone has a copy of the eponymous album by the Champion String Band, or knows where such a thing might be found, I'd be intrigued. I have four tracks from it, including the excellent (if, like myself, you're of a folk bent, and don't mind the odd diddle-um-a-di-do) Song of Temptation, and would kill - although probably only small, fluffy creatures, or woodland mammals - to hear the rest.
The rarest recording I can offer is not a song but a radio play, Operation Lightning Pegasus, which has a small but fanatic fan-base. |
