Hmmm... what do you mean by the timing of notes? Theory? Practical? What level of player?
If you mean playing in time then a metronome is probably going to be much more useful. Get one from any decent music shop...
If you mean theory relating to breves, minims, crotchets, quavers, semi-quavers, demi-semi-quavers, and hemi-demi-semi-quavers (goddamn those hemi-demi-semi-quavers), rests, dotted notes and triplets etc., then I'd recommend internet research or some classic A-B Theory of Music reference books.
Really, I think computers and classical piano have little business together, to be honest. Buy some CD's of great performances, and stay as far away from sampled piano modules and sequencers as possible. That way laziness lies.
