I think the point is this: Barbelith is slow sometimes. There's not really any point in bumping a Policy thread to have a moan about it when the problem's already been pointed out and Tom's already said he's looking into it. It might be more profitable to go and have a wank instead.

servers can be tricky things. even vanilla webcommerce ones need love sometimes.
besides all the tech stuff (bandwidth/cpu/config) the focus can make them twitchy.
however I'll stick to the mainstream stuff here and ask, do you need any geeky tech help? If so please let me know as I'm delighted to have joined. That said I'm going to go give you $ in case it is purely upgrade issues. thanks for making it go!

Craptastic traceroute numbers right before the server on the pipe. Boo.
