Sweet dreams...

seems a trite saying, 'sweet dreams', but it occurred to me last night that it is actually one of the most beautiful things to earnestly wish for someone.

now i know, 'as much delicious chocolate as you could ever want' is another wonderful thing to wish for someone; but what is the most beautiful thing you have said to someone, or wished you had said? [outside those gleushhy moments of passion and lust!]

one of my own was saying to a friend that i hoped [it] was as good as vanilla smelt to me... [i love, love vanilla, that evocation of sheeny black with buttercup yellow unctuous honey sweet suffusion of delicate bliss wrapped in liquid silk and bursting with freshness and life. mmmmmm]

couldn't think of a better thing at the time. but i guess there are myriad examples: gimme gimme, o 'lithers!!

I don't get that Quantum. Could someone explain it to me -I not even being flippant for once.

Say climbing Snowden was the best part of my life so far. How will that be the worst in the future?

I think what Quantum means is that everything in the future should be of at least as good a standard as the very best thing that's already happened to you. I like it.

I like it too. It sounds good, but I just couldn't work it out!

My dad is a great epigrammatist. He greets visitors to his home by saying
You are my pal,
pee anywhere you like
.
It does seem to put (most) people at their ease. I doubt anyone has taken him at his word.
