So after 15 years of self employment its all coming to a end. The jobs changed, the works dried up, people live on credit and find it easier to buy new than have existing machinery repaired, looking at the future things in my trade are going to get worse so its time to jump before I am pushed. (The final straw being having to use my credit card to pay a tax bill-in effect paying to go to work and who does that?)
So I go for a job as a Security Guard, babysitting a car lot, the money aint great-but liveable, the hours are long but the works local so it should keep wear and tear off my car.
Not heard anything back yet. My first ever job interview was a experience. and this waiting for the phone to ring is ...... not a lot of fun.
