Drugs and Gnosis?

I recently have been experimenting a good deal with DMT and it dawned on me that this might be an effective way to launch sigils. The DMT realm certainly seems as if it is communicating to me, and I wonder if I can communicate back with sigils. Has anyone experimented with this technique? I'd imagine that if it is effective you could launch a good deal of sigils in a single DMT experience given the incredible intensity of said experience. Would any of you who have tried DMT disagree as to the experience being in fact Gnosis? Would any of you say that projecting one's desire into such a powerful realm as the DMT realm be trespassing in the world of machine-elves?

My normal technique for launching sigils is either sex or shamanic drumming and though these techniques are different in and of themselves they are still NOTHING compared to DMT. And does this technique stop with DMT? What of LSD? Opiates? Alcohol etc.? Have any of you effectively used substances to launch or aid your sigil magick? I always black out whenever drink on traquilizers like Valium or Clonopin, would this be any effective way to forget one's intent? Could you lust for a result if you hadn't rememered ever launching the sigil?

Do it and then tell us, mate.

Treat it like you would any other scientific experiment. Plan what you're going to do in advance: how much of what substance, what time, with whom, ect. Try and create "control" launches, where you don't actually have an intent, just a doodle. Keep a detailed diary; go back over it in a few months and evaluate your results.

(And from the way you're talking, I'm not sure that simply using DMT as a new-improved way to charj teh syjyls is really what you need. Not telling you what to do or anything but have you considered a change of direction at this point?)

Change of direction? Char te sygyls? Forgive my inexperience and humor me, I've only ever launched sigils via orgasm and the no-mind trance state I induce while my limbs are wailing away on drums. Both were effective and are my tried and true methods, but I had the notion that you could launch several sigils within that fantastic separation from EVERYTHING that occurs during th DMT trance.

(Excuse the comedy spelling, I was just joking around--I've just seen one too many enthusiastic sigil threads in my time.)

What I meant was: maybe you've come to a point where you could think about moving on from sigil workings, get into new areas?

Yeah, I can dig it. I am in fact moving into other areas. The sigil thing just came to me after smoking DMT yesterday evening and I intend to experiment as soon as I get the nerve to smoke that shit again. It isn't the sort of substance you can use casually. The weight of the experience is such that is feels as if it is something that shouldn't be trifled with. Which is precisely why I came to the 'lith here. Have YOU shjmoked dher DMT? If you haven't I recommend moving into this particular area.

I personally find dmt to be a valuable ally in my own magickal work. I'd suggest creating a vocal component to your sigil if you wish to charge it into the dmt hyperspace. Thy word is bond, especially in the logosphere of tryptamines.

Interesting LVX, and it makes perfect sense. I have not yet experimented with the vocal component to sigil work but read about it in Ray Sherwin's book. I will give it a shot. For some reason when I am in the dmt hyperspace I find I start to make my body move almost involuntarily into some rave dance thing. Have you ever thought that there could be a physical/gestural component to sigil work in this state?

Using DMT to charge sigils sounds a bit like using a machine gun as a bludgeoning weapon...

Yeah, or using a A Bomb to cook your toast. Seriously, if you're lucky enough to have a regular supply of DMT, isn't it weird enough, already, on it's own?
