I've decided at the last minute to leggit up to the smoke tonight after work to go to this and try and get hold of a copy of the book, since I loved 'The Lonely Dead' so much. Anyone else fancy joining me? If not, anyone fancy a pint or two afterwards?
For clarity's sake, Michael Marshall is also known as Michael Marshall Smith, the sci-fi adventure author of the utterly blinding 'Only Forward', the wonderful 'Spares', the frankly more than a bit rubbish 'One Of Us' and screeds of really bloody good short stories, collected in 'What You Make It'.
Will check the thread before I leave work, just in case, but I appreciate it's short notice... Those of you who have my mobile number and fancy a drink later on, give me a buzz. It's my berfday week (I'm 30 on Thursday, yo) and I needs beer, yes I does. |
