i was just wondering if anyone had followed grant's suggection of taking a tab of acid and reading the whole run of the invisibles beginning to end. i'd like to but i dont have every issue yet.

I started to read the trade paperback, Bloody Hell in America, last time I went tripping, but all the violence was starting to freak me out. I think I may have started to read it too early in the trip and it got a little dark and intense and fascinated by death and ... well I stopped reading it.

I did manage to read that sequence where they're up on the mesa tripping though. that was cool... but I think the first volume may be more suited. I'll try it next time...

Tried it on acid.The "Edith in the underworld" issue actually made sense.
Tried it on meth....started thinking I was IN the comic.
Tried it on weed...fell asleep.

i tried to start reading volume one in the aftermath of a 5-meo-dipt trip but couldn't undersatnd anything. i'm currently trying to get the whole run of the comic so i can trythe experiment. though, i think mushrooms owuld be more conducive to illumination. i'll keep ya informed.

Once read the Gettysberg address on three hits of Purple Microdot, and didn't understand a word of it, and also once listened to the song "Baby's on Fire" from the 801live album on four hits of orange double barrel, and heard a cacophany of syncopated guitars that on a subsequent listen were not in evidence at all.
