Donations and 'subscriptions'

I apoloigze if this has been addressed before; I searched but could find nothing to its exact effect.

I would like to make a $5 donation as per the PayPal link at the bottom of the front page. However, when I log in, I see PayPal is trying to set me up with a "subscription" to Barbelith. Does this mean it will extract $5/mo from my account every month? Or just a flat, one-time $5 when I click "Pay"?

If you want to make individual donations then 'donations@barbelith.com' should do the trick, direct from within Paypal itself.

Yup. Send your cash to donations@barbelith.com and it'll come through to the server fund. We switched to monthly donations a while back after I'd come begging to the board for the tenth time in as many months. This way alleviates that need a bit.

Thanks, Tom. The cash is on its way. Sorry to be a tightwad not donating monthly, but I only work certain months of the year. I'll do what I can when I can.
