Links not working for individuals

Yesterday I got a moderation request that had a small add on from Smoothly saying that a link in Switchboard didn't seem to be working and kept linking back to the thread. When I went to the post he cited, the link was working fine so I assumed it was a problem on his side of things. But last night the same thing happened to me with the Frida Kahlo thread in A,F&D. I sent a message to Xocolat asking him if the link was working and he said it was fine. It kept taking me back to the thread though (it's okay this morning).

So firstly has anyone else experienced this phenomena? Has anyone moderated the Frida Kahlo link? Have I lost my mind?

I moderated the Kahlo link -there was an 'a href' and the address but no equals sign, so it was underlined and in bold but there was no hand when you hovered the cursor over it. Or rather, when I hovered over it (I am, to my chagrin, using IE)

I don't know how it would work as a link without the '=', but thought I'd reassure you that you aren't going insane!

Well perhaps that was the result- I wonder now why I didn't just moderate it... presumably I was having a mind power out.
