What the summary says really. I'm not really familiar with the whole java mobile game scene and I was looking for some recommendations for some decent games to play on my new phone and/or sources for the same.

Sensi Soccer's good as always. I've heard good things about Ancient Empires 2 and a few others. I'll have a bit more of a think and try and remember what I was playing before I got my DS (ie when I had a mobile gap for playing games) and get back to you. Oh, what's your mobile btw. this actually matters a fair bit in terms of speed rather than anything else. Also I assume it supports J2ME 2.0 as you get *much* better games from the latest version.

i can tell you the two worst games: colourbug and bubbles. i downloaded them for bathroom break work slacking. they are infuriatingly stupid. in bubbles you move the cursor around and if you press the button bubbles come out. that's it. in colour bug things move around the screen depending which number key you press. i think they completly misunderstood the idea of a game. it's like a one square chess board.

Thanks for those recomendations/warnings.
Nedrichards - my phone is a Nokia 3120 and despite checking on the Nokia website I can't find out what version of java it supports. I shall try sensi soccer as I was addicted to the amiga version.

I was hopelessly addicted to Connect 4 for about two months...

I'm looking for a decent platform game, actually.
