I have become absolutely infatuated with this show. Mansion of unlimited rooms, imaginary friends that interact with the real world, disgusting numbers of interesting characters, and a really good grasp of how to just be a cartoon without resorting to shod stories or "in-jokes for the adults."

And by god, I know I can't be the only one that watches it.

It's created by Craig McKracken (sorry if butchered the spelling of his name), right? The guy who created the Powerpuff Girls? I heard very good things about the Home for Imaginary Friends but haven't seen it yet.

It really is excellent.

I continue to tell my friends that I'm amazed at the sophistication of children's shows. Not in the adult-humor mentioned above, but in the precisely appropriate level of humor and the fun and interesting stories.

Exactly. Like some of the better PPG episodes Foster's grabs the fact that you don't have to be an adult to be smart and witty.

Fave episode so far is when Frankie tapes Mr. Herrigard (the bunny butler) entertaining Mdm. Foster. The whole thing is just a perfectly paced disaster from start to finish.

Oh and, shout out?:

[Talking about calling in help to catch a "ghost"]
Wilt: Who are you gonna call?
Coco: Co-coco!
Wilt: They've been out of business for years.

I love Bloo, he's such a dick but he's great.

Fav. episode has to be where Bloo suggests they pool their tickets together in the arcade to get something cool, and end up with the squeaky elephant. Mac's evil teasing of him with it just before Bloo's turn is priceless.

All that, and I loves the theme song.

Oh, and Finder; yeah, it is by McCracken (whether you've got his name right or not, I'm not entirely sure. )
