Theres definitely a realm of experience to explore here and I support the pioneer spirit, which is,I believe what drives us to these places in absence of spaceships.
But hallucinations of a visual and aural and sensual are pretty potent and can be completely convincing, even as they rally against the forces of human reason. There is another realm of the hallucination, the next step so to speak, where this experience takes on another aspect, and that is the complete immersion and ability to maneuver coupled with personal consciousness and sense of self.I think the drugs can pull a few strings to show you a glimpse of the potential of altered consciousness, but the Jack London of hallucinations await those who attempt the 'trip' by transcendental mediation perhaps coupled or assisted with drugs.
I think there is a definite frontier to explore here, especially when you encounter objects and instances which have layered meanings as well as beings who wear the Gods as masks.
Its funny to think that we take on a pretence at dignity and power,by donning the mantle of magician, and then the spirits take on their aspect to deal with us.It begs the question:Why can't the mirrors open and everyone can meet up.? There is some unbelievable plan behind the actions of the spirits, and social psychology is in the dark ages compared to the reasoning of brave souls who explore the extremes of these new realms, with or without drugs. |
