I'm getting an intermittent connection from my iPAQ headphone jack. The left channel keeps cutting out when the headphone plug moves.

Is this something I can fix myself? Any ideas?

Probably not. It could be a break in the cable, or a problem with the jack point connecting to the jack plug - but it'd be a fiddle (cutting down the wire and resoldering) if there is a break in the cable, and you'd have to know where it is.
