I think Firefox comes with Flash these days. I may be wrong, but I can't remember having had to install it seperately when I loaded it onto my work PC.

(I'm using Safari at home admittedly.)

Interestingly, the new Netscape uses Firefox as a rendering agent but also IE - it flips between the two as required. I've not actually seen an IE-only site for ages but I suppose in some circumstances it might be useful. Don't really want to encourage them though do we?

As far as I know, Firefox still needs a Flash installation, although it's been a while since I installed it (in fact, I need to update it...). What it also has, however, is Flashblocker, which is a godsend and which will probably eventually drive me off Safari and back onto Firefox - it blocks flash, meaning plages load far more quickly and you don't get the Flash adverts that you still get when you turn images off. You can then activate any Flash elements you actually want.

I'm not exactly a computer genius, so I don't have any inspired advice, but I'll say this: I tried firefox and I never looked back.

p.s. gotta love those tabs
