DR. WHO has never been big in Brazil, probably met with even less interest than it has in U.S. I may have watched a Tv movie when I was akid and that was it. but the recent buzz on the new series made me not only want to take a look at Eccleston's adventures, but reminded me that Grant Morrison wrote 3 stories for DR WHO MAGAZINE:

Dr Who Monthly:

# 118-119 - "Changes" - Marvel (UK) - 1986 - John Ridgway

# 127-129 - "The World Shapers" - Marvel (UK) - 1987 - Tim Perkins, John Ridgway

# 139 - "Culture Shock" - Marvel (UK) - 1988 - Bryan Hitch

Pannini, who bought Marvel's UK operation in the mid 90s, are currently reprinting their back catalogue of Dr Who strips that runs the entire history of Dr Who Magazine

(Marvel launched a Doctor Who Comic aimed mainly at kids around 1979. At some point in its first ten years it metamorphasized into a magazine format aimed at an older audience... however a comic strip has remained an integral part of the publication throughout its history)

Anyhow - Dr Who strips have featured the works of pretty much every artist and more than a few writers that crossed the Atlantic to work in the American comic industry and a lot of the strips are a lot of fun... I'd say wait for the collections containing Morrison's work to come out and check them out then...

"Changes" is well worthwhile. I have "The World Shapers", but I can't for the life of me remember what it's about.

I'm a big Who fan, and count some of the Who comic strips that have been published in D.W.M. amongst my favourites, but I can't honestly recommend you go to any trouble tracking them down. As comics go they're nothing special, they're okay. As Who goes they're not even that.

How about Morrison's Avengers comics? I know he did at least two. Has anybody here read those?

I've read one, had Ian Gibson art. Think it was #3 of 4, but maybe not.
