hey there everyone
here i am again sounding off about my upcoming stuff. first off please check out the absolute promethea petition thread on this forum being presented by some very dedicated people. this is an ambitious idea and lets make it successful.
also i think next week will see the debut of desolation jones #1 by warren ellis and myself. so if anyone wishes to discuss things about it please start a thread.
another project coming out soon that warrants discussion is batman legends of the dark knight "snow" story arc written by myself and d.curtis johnson (chase) and with fabulous art by seth fisher(green lantern willworld, tokyo pop, doom patrol). it is going to run five issues and will present a very different take on batman or at least i hope you will think so. feel free to start a thread.
and i have some upcoming appearances to mention. i will be at the golden state con in oakland california the weekend of may 21st and 22nd, then i will be doing a signing at alternate reality comics in las vegas nevada on saturday may 28th from 3pm to 6pm. along with this being the 10 year anniversary for the store it is also marking the end of promethea and the arrival of desolation jones. then in july i will also be at the big san diego comic con show. i will be part of the "naked fat rave' booth to feature lots and lots of other great artists. at the booth i will be premiering my first ever sketchbook art collection. this will feature some rare stuff in it from all sorts of sources as well as some previously unseen material. 56 pages, black and white, color front and back cover, perfect bound, signed and limited to a print run of 500. this will probably be offered for 20 bucks.
