Using magic styles found in comic books

I realize there are people who have used the archetypes of superhero characters in their magic, such as Superman as Apollo.

However, this is not about magic using comic books, but magic using comic book magic. Have you ever performed the techniques in, say, Naruto? Have you ever achieved anything? What did you do to prepare?

Because I want to do this, but I can't figure out how to go about it, and it'd be great if there was some prior experience to take off from.

Gee... nope.
I use comics heroes ar archetypal focus/foci.
But, no, I have never tried to replicate a magickal technique from comics (unless you count Hellblazer, which for me reads more like real magick on comics)
But there's no reason it shouldn't work.
I mean, there are people that summon Chtulu (sp?), people that do magic like that witch in Buffy, and people that follow a jedi religion...
That's one of the basical beliefs of chaos magic. If you believe, you make it work, and what matters is if it works or not..
