Bogart's tuxedo from Casablanca? Darth Vader's panties?

Someone, perhaps David Gest, has bid £140000 at auction for Dorothy's gingham frock from The Wizard of Oz.

What piece of famously filmed fashion do you covet? Tom Baker's scarf? Indiana Jones' hat?

I'd bid obscene figures for the ruby slippers from Oz or Stanley Kowalski's vest from Streetcar Named Desire.

Not that I could squeeze into it but I'd also get quite excited at the prospect of a Spacing Guild Agent's leather coat with the high collar from David Lynch's Dune.

Indy's "The Hat" (always capitalised) definitely and a softspot for a Bond tux. Mmm.

Marilyn Monroe's "blow up" dress
The Sorting Hat from the Harry Potter movies

And I'm basing that on being able to sell them for more at a later date.

I'd have had Withnail's coat but Chris Evans bought it so I wouldn't touch it now. In the same why that I wouldn't touch Geri Halliwell since he had his mitts all over her.

Oh, and who's the posh girl in Four Wedding's and a Funeral? Well anyway, her wedding outfit and hat from the last wedding in the film. Not for any other reason than I have coveted that outfit since I saw the film.

Once I dreamt about it. and yes, before you point it out I am aware that dreaming about owning a film characters outfit is the epitome of sadness. I need to get out more.

I wouldn't mind Tom Baker's 'Dr Who' scarf, either.

The blouse from 'Scorpion's Revenge' the main character wears right before her husband/boyfriend appears to explode along with his car, outside her window. I love the design and it was the one worthwhile thing in the movie. The first time I was subjected to the film, that was actually the one thing (other than the basic plot) that I remembered a full week later. Brilliant cut.

Or, Gary Oldman's kit from 'The Fifth Element' 'cause it combines Gaultier, Besson, and Oldman and distills them into a wonderful coat and cute collar, yes. And the head-piece, and all.

Pretty much anything that Brad Pitt wears in Fight Club (especially the read leather jacket). He just looks too damn cool:

Oh! Sailor's snakeskin jacket from 'Wild at Heart'. Because then I would get to say "This is a snakeskin jacket and for me it's a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom."

Which would truly rock.

- Mildly interesting note: The jacket in the film actually belonged to Nick Cage. (Jacket: Model's own.)

There's a hat that Jennifer Jason Leigh wears in Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle, I think it's a cloche hat or a half-cloche with a flower on it, all one colour, an olive green shade I think. I haven't seen the film for quite a while so I can't recall precisely what it looks like but I adored it. That's what I'd buy.

Shizon's iridescent Cenobite cloak from Star Trek: Nemesis:

Horrible film, but the colors make my eyes happy...

Lord Henry, I too coveted Brad's gear in Fight Club and actually spent a good while on Google Images looking for a pic but couldn't find one of that orange/brown shirt he wore in the film.

Kept being distracted and entertained anyway by the leather jacket and by him sans top entirely.

I would covet Meatloaf's man-breasts but I already have a perfectly serviceable pair of my own.
