I believe Grant mentioned Horus as the god of this century. Crowley would likely have put it a bit differently, naming the entity
Ra-Hoor-Khuit (Same energy as Horus but to some degree incorporating Ra and Harpocrates) and claiming the period of influence to last approximately 2000 years not 100.
For contacting Horus you may find Crowley's work to be a bit too involved. Most of AC's texts are focused on training and long-term trancendence rather than practical sorcery. A quicker and dirtier way to contact Horus would be to surround yourself with fire, the color orange or scarlet, sulfer, items made of iron or oak, wield a sword, etc. Then call to him, first as a distant entity but slowly becoming more familliar until you self-identify as Horus.
As an even faster alternative, you could simply reach out to him mentally and listen for your/his inner voice as the answer.
I'd be most interested in hearing the results of people's communications with Horus/Ra-Hoor-Khuit via whatever method. |
