Sweet mother of god! Has anyone else seen this movie? I just watched it last night and I'm still laughing over it. Without contest, the greatest spoof of bad sci-fi B-movies. With better and more quotable lines than Pulp Fiction and Star Wars combined:
Dr. Paul Armstrong: Betty, you know what this meteor could mean to science. It could mean actual advances in the field of science.
Ranger Brad: I've seen a bear do things, well... things that even a bear wouldn't do.
Lattis: Who knows how many untold millions will die by its hand?
Kro-Bar: If only it did have hands, my woman. If only it did have hands.
What Spinal Tap was to rockumentaries, this (at last) is to films like Them! and This Island Earth. Genius! |
