Here's what Kali is up to.
Despite many many failed attempts to join her comrades overseas--and trust me, they were more financial than personal--it's coming. The tickets have been bought AGAIN, and I hold my breath with an-ti-cip-ation.
The 2nd draft of my screenplay is being finished. I meet this Friday with an actor whom I have written for one of the main leads, so wish me well.
I also have taken a soulless well-paying job involving writing advert copy. Pray for me.
San Francisco looks to be my inevitable destination. (Also involving soulless well-paying job.)
My Japanese is fantastic; it allowed me to teach in Osaka last year. My Dutch and Spanish...well, we're working on it.
To all of you I have known, and those of you I have not yet met, I heart you. I miss you, too.
