I frequently get this screen (warning - large photo, to best reveal details). I get it when first coming to the site, or when trying to follow a link - it doesn't seem to happen during any specific time or occasion. does anyone else get this? and if so, do you get it very often? I'd say I get this seemingly identical series of messages at least once every 3 or 4 times I visit the site.

This is a long standing and ongoing issue, bitchiekittie. The last thread about it, here, includes some comments from Tom about how it might be solved. Predictably it comes down to money, but it's probably not a bad idea to keep mentioning it as all these groovy new members join us, and everyone loves Barbelith the more for it.

Is that still happening? I thought Cal's optimisation might have solved that. Longer term the solution is to get a new server. I'm trying to find a spare weekend where I can do that without disrupting the flow of the site too much.

I just got that same screen when I had the reply screen open for this thread in A, F & D.
