T-Shirt transfers, drunken brainstorming, and raising money for the Barb.

So up in Convo, in the late shift, we were having some drunken mutterings about what sort of t-shirt transfers we'd like to make, and idea came up for a t-shirt transfer swap thread. Keggers then suggested that maybe we should start a CafePress store to peddle wares spawned by our oh-so-creative and internet hip minds, and then donate all profits to help fund the board.

Thus, here is a thread to discuss potential logistic, shirt/mug/swag ideas, and see what we can come up with. (Also presuming that Tom is comfy with the idea, which I don't know if he is or is not.)

First suggestion for a store name as brainstormed by Keggers (with just a smidgen of assistance from moi): Self-A-Wear-ia.

There's also Zazzle, for t-shirts, posters, cards ect.

(And I should perhaps mention the old Barbe-tees thread.)

Now this is a good idea...although I'd advocate finding both a US and a UK provider of T-Shirts. From painfully financial experience I know that ordering US shirts for delivery to the UK can sometimes be really costly in terms of shipping and customs charges.

Indeed, the first Barbe-Tees thread was the first and the best.

I want one that says "Don't make me get Mr. Funny." See the Mindfuck thread for further details.

This is actually a great idea. The only problem I see is that on cafepress, if you want to sell more than one of a certain product type, you have to pay a monthly fee. So really, this would only work out if we sold enough each month to overcome that fee.

Zazzle don't. And unlike Cafe Press they have no minimum payment.
