Anybody know this guy's stuff? It's just the right side of Goldie Lookin' Chain style UK hip-hop, with far batter lyrics IMO. Some really amusing tracks, the latest and greatest I've heard being "Living in the Future"...he has a site with some mixtapes and so forth which you can stream from a funky little tape player Flash thing...

Have a butchers, see what you think...and try to get hold of "Living in the Future", which is great.

yeah this guy is definitely an interesting character. i know him as my friend's mysterious and glamorous older brother, and used to read his confessional pseudo-gonzo journalism columns on the playlouder.com website (the weekender, the week), in which he'd recount his rocknroll music journo lifestyle in all its lurid and supremely readable glory. but now he has apparently renounced his debauched ways the better to further his music career and not lose his mind. i really like the track John the Baptist here , which kinda sums up his earlier life and shows a different side to the Don than the lively living in the future. though of course it is by his own admission "narcissistic bullshit". and i am a sucker for mournful string sections over beats coupled with an angry angsty vocal. but who isn't ?!
