Just a page is an annual charity comic that i find really difficult to describe...

It's a comic. Each year it has a theme (this year's theme is team-ups and best battles). And its looking for contributers of all stripes from established pros and small-press giants, to people attempting to make a break in the industry, amateurs and fans.

It is regularly championed by that comics wag Rich Johnston and has already received some great contributions this year such as the WE3 piece featured in the URL below

grant - dude if you have the spare time, you could totally mock up a tabloid-type page filling the picturebox with art scanned from whatever comics you wanted to feature... it would look great!

As a little side project to this, the people (well, person) behind just a page is organizing a little challenge at the ukwebcomixthing this weekend. You've heard of the 24 hour comic? Well then welcome to the 24 minute minicomic. 24 contributors (or contributing teams) each have 24 minutes to produce 1 page for a comic that will be printed, published and made available by the end of the event... And as an insert in Just 1 page 3...

So yes If you come along on Saturday, drop by the just one page table and see if you can join in the fun. As for the contributions for Just1page so far - here is plasticman Vs the Mighty Atom by Hunt Emmerson...
