It looks like mein Freundin und Ich will PROBABLY be moving to London in about a month, so if anyone can help:

2 young folks, 26, looking for cheap flat in around zone 2?
Anyone have any leads or spare rooms?
What's average rent about nowadays?
What are good cheapish areas other than Stoke Newington? (not to say I wouldn't want to live in Stoke Newington again, I'm just curious...)

www.gumtree.com is your friend as is london.craigslist.org. Found my second place in London through a Gumtree ad, its very easy to use, although you probably don't have to mind sharing houses with Antipodeans
