sigils and emotions

Do strong emotions or overwhelming need effect the success of a sigil?

For example, if a starving man sigilizes for a can of Pringles or a hamburger would his overwhelming need for food doom his sigil to fail?

I have never noticed a difference. Then again, my success with sigils is ... sporadic.

I would imagine so.

As I understand it, you aren't supposed to think about your intent at all once a sigil has been charged. This seems impossible when sigiling in the example you give.

I believe in cases like this, Servitors are the way to go. But I haven't had any success with those.

Yeah, desire and will are closely linked, so if you're desiring something all the time, it's going to interfere with your focussed will (the sigil).
That's my read on it.
