Wow, digging up the Old Dirt! Unfortunately the whole thing burned out in a very short time. I thought it was a great idea, had a website and everything, but it's tough to keep up the momentum when there was little feedback. I'd get thousands of hits and no word from anyone. On the personal front, my wife was enthused for about 2 months, then that was it, so I went solo for a few more and the time eventually moved into the part of the day where I was doing stuff.
Then at that point I started getting phone calls from Morning Radio Shows because some guy sent out a press release with my phone number on it as a human interest story. Did I mention I hate, hate FUCKING HATE morning drive time DJ's. Always did, those interviews went OK, but the Jocks were still idiots. I even got a mention on Leno in his monolouge, but because I have some sort of weird Media InvisoKarma where every time my name gets mentioned in the media, something gets fucked up, some other guy in California with a similar idea gets the credit. I mean it's a great idea, and great minds think alike, more power to Globalgasm (hate the name though)!
Its funny, I look upon G.O.D. as not so much a failure, but as something that didn't quite work out. It would have been great if it took off. The few times the wife and I mixed it up, it was pretty powerful stuff. Could do wonders for the world.
On a side note, right about then I had some great sigils going for the Magik group, a blind test for a certain result that failed to happen. That I considered a failure and kind of ruined the Magik thing for me. Any comments? |

at 7 pm EST in the US of A! I was reflecting on connecting with all of humanity around the world.........didn't feel anything dramatic, but felt very good about trying to connect with that group mind, at the very least.
