Dum-da-da-da! Dum-da-da-da!
Hi, I posted this in my 21st b/day thread but I figure I need to be a good Barbenian and keep by the book. This thread will be for various bits of art I wish to share with the denizens of the Interweb.
Background, I've studied art to a college level in illustration and graphic design. I vary in skill in ink, pencilling, painting and cad. But my first love has always been comic books. Due to a drought in passion for art in general over the last 3-5 months I've hardly drawn a thing which made me scared to get going again in fear that I'd become a bit shit.
The other day, to help me along and give me some inspiration I bought a book of poses. 257 pages of a guy posing in various angles and rotations. It fucking rocks on FIRE and has really helped me get my sense of anatomy back. Earlier I was using it for some torso/arm shapes and this came out of it.
I had no real plan for the face when I started. It ain't no Christopher Reeves but it's not meant to be. This rocks more towards the direction of Dean Cain by way of George/Keana Reeves I reckon.
