This is the movie that Stanley Kubrick would have made had he been a pitiless, crack-addicted, reprobate stalking the streets of Osaka with an uncanny knack for making ultra-violence look like a Technicolor, cell-shaded, nightmare. This movie is weird and disturbing and everything A Clockwork Orange must have been (or was intended to be) three decades ago. It doesn't make sense and there's really off-the-wall symbolism that makes you feel like you're looking for your car keys with a dead cat strapped to your head.
So does anyone need a clozapine? |
