Magick Brands or Branches.

I know of Cyber and Chaos. Wonder what else there is, has anyone reserved Beer Magick, yet? If not I might take that one.

ya know beer magick can lead to near death experiences, stop eating food, just subsist on beer and spirits, for a few months and viola that death in life, its a relatively old magickal technique that i rediscovered in 1999 and brought to ahead in 2000.

id suggest it as a one off, oh it could just kill you instead by the way, but some of the best rituals seem to contain high elements of fear, dont they?

There was a line of Lovecraftian beers running around with names such as "Dunwich Dark." It seems to have vanished. However, there still are a few Lovecraftian breweries around Rhode Island...

Is cyber magic like cyber sex? Where you just talk about what you want to do a lot on the internet but never actually do anything in real life?

Potent Non Action would form a major component of cyber magick, as with any other branch I expect. Magick directs Art and Science. Cyber Magick is a stupid combination of words, I started this thing with tongue in cheek. However the idea of using old values in contemporary working is totally sensible.

I just started reading The Drawing of the Dark by Tim Powers; it seems to involve beer magick somehow...

The Drawing of the Dark is big on the beer magic. Its part of Tim Powers' "Fisher King" books, which all have to do very heavily with the mysticism inherent in beer and wine.

I generally prefer beer to wine in rituals, when I use alcohol at all. No real particular reason.
