I have watched the Jerry Springer Opera, it was an intelligent and critical look at the Christian Religion, told in a hilarious, and if misinterpreted a blashphemous way.
Perhaps these people are getting so annoyed because they feel that their religion is being threatened, and they just don't want to think about it's sexist, racist,and homophobic aspects.
I don't think that a few swear words, and Jesus running round in a nappy is the real problem that the complainers have with this show, it's the idea that they might have to think about their faith rather than following it blindly. |
