Just come back from a lovely Christmas Day spent eating, drinking and watching Bagpuss- and lilly's 3-yr-old daughter has finally come to understand the wonder that is the saggy old cloth cat. I now intend to spend the next few hours... well, probably drinking and watching Bagpuss. (I couldn't eat any more.)

Ah! Just returned to 2 1/2 feet of snow in the driveway (that's almost a meter to all you non-US 'lithers), which had to be at least narrowly scooped so we could park the vehicle in the drive and take out all the baggage of the journey to my parents. Now an uncle and a cousin are coming over tomorrow and an inlaw the next day.
