Hi all

This is a shout out to say I'm going to be in Toronto over the weekend of the 7-9 of January and would be well up for meeting any of the Toronto-based folks who are going to be around at that time. Is anyone up for a meet? Is anyone even going to be in town? let me know here...

Count me in. I've got no plans for the 7th; the 8th involves a birthday party for a friend, so if y'all meet then, I shall join you for a pint or two. As opposed to the horrible, mind-bending drunkenness I seem to sign up for whenever Baz comes out. For which the 7th would be preferable.

The 7th sounds good. I haven't been in toronto since '98 - and Betty Woo mentioned that the El Mo had closed down... - do people have any suggestions on where to meet and where we might want to drink?

The Vic works for me, and it's close to the subway. There's also decent music playing down the road at the Andy Poolhall that evening if we feel we're up for a spot of dancing (at someplace that has, y'know, lights and stuff, as opposed to the usual venue).
