one other thing: i am getting into magick after delaying it for years and would like some advice and/or information, especially about creating rituals, getting into the right headspace, etc. thanks

Wasn't he into Astral Projection?
I've read some stuff by Robert Bruce who was greatly influenced by Monroe. Check out his site, Real Magick and be sure to check out his treatises on Astral Projection. I also recommend his book, Astral Dynamics.

That Robert Bruce character is quite a lucid writer on the sunject of Astral Projection.Did you read 'The Rope Technique'?He claims he accidentally, and then deliberately, projected into a picture that was hanging on his wall.Tonight my pictures are coming off the wall. One picture just shows lines and lines of coloured meaningless sentences. To think that I slept with such dangers nearby:at any moment I could have found myself stranded in one of my land-lady's paintings!Brrr, the horror.

He's a good writer with some very interesting ideas. His NEW technique for energy raising is really quite good.

And there can be some good ideas on his forum.

I'll try again tonight.Last night I meditated and fell asleep.I do remember having my own sword in my lucid dreaming stages when I was a teenager. It had a name aswell.Does anybody else have any objects of consistency reappearing under any dream or astral circumstances?Has anyone here ever experienced initiation into 'The Continuance'?(a collection of hard-core astral knights /heavy xtian influence that R.Bruce talks about)
