I wanted to see if anyone else had run across this series way back 4 years ago. Really excellent horror series from Phil Hester and Mike Huddleston about a scientist (who happens to also be a grade-A ass) who develops a polymer bodysuit that can capture and contain the soul at the moment of death, essentially granting immortality. Obviously, he gets killed and trapped in his own creation, finding it to be a lot more hellish than he'd imagined.

After a quick tour of hell, he gets a chance at redemption in trying to save his daughter from the body-part-snatching old man who funded his research in the first place. The pithing scene is especially memorable...

Er, yeah. If you haven't read this, I'd suggest seeing if you can find it.

Sounds quite interesting actually and if someone had bothered to say at least this much about why the coffin was good, I'd have picked it up dollar bins at a comics show. Well, I'll look for it anyway.

Yeah, this was a good read. The elements were all terribly predictable, but it wass written and drawn well enough that it didn't matter. And three cheers for the pithing scene! The antagonist for this series was possibly the evil human you can imagine!
