I've got a spare audience seat for the recording of The Frank Skinner Show tonight. The musical guest is Morrissey. Seems a shame for it to go to waste, so if anyone fancies it - and can get to the London Studios on the Southbank (next to the National Theatre) by 6 sharp - PM me.

Oooh, enjoy it! Assume it's I Have Forgiven Jesus. Let us know if he sings it in full Vicar of Miseribbley regalia...

I'm seeing the man in Brighton on the 17th (I think). Needless to say VERY FUCKING EXCITED INDEED.

Oh, thanks. He was very good. The song felt very short, and I'm surprised, having just checked, that it's longer than Irish Blood, English Heart, and First Of The Gang To Die. Hm.

He was conservatively attired in blue crushed velvet smoking jacket over modestly ruffled shirt. He crossed himself histrionically a couple of times. He did well considering the conditions - small, uninvested crowd, a number of whom would have been there to see Jodie fucking Marsh...
Suitably divaish though. He didn't hang around. Turned up with a 12 strong entourage 10 minutes before his performance, fucked off straight after. He made me go a bit wobbly when he wafted past though. There's something about that Morrissey. Best waft in town.

Hope you enjoy him on the 17th, MacGyver.

He is indeed the Queen of Wafts. He always used to team that blue smoking jacket with, for whatever reason, a sprig of (what looked like) fake flowering lilac sticking out of his crotch - before flinging it into the crowd.

Glad to hear he avoided having to make creepy conversation with Our Frank.
