The Babelfish Game

This is kind of like the Telephone game, only with Babelfish.

You take a sentence and type it into Babelfish, and translate it into another language. The next person can take the result and translate it into another language, and so on. Eventually the sentence will come full circle into its original language, and be completely unrecognizable and hopefully amusing.

Here's the toy:

Okay... Go!

L'autre dia j'ai decidido deslocar todas as coisas, o meu parafuso em brancos, o salão no fim do jardim, e a minha mulher deixou.

Bloody hell. Okay, so we had English to German... unless the original sentence was auf Deutch... German to... French, and then French to... what is that last one, iconoplast? Spanish? Italian? I get my Romance langauges confuzzled anyway, and I think some of the words just didn't translate at all.

Even if you just take the very first one and go straight back to English from German, you get:

"The other day decided I, all my things, mine live into white ones, in resounds at the end of the garden to shift, and my woman left."

What the hell was your original sentence, Alex?

(I love Babelfish. Automatic translators are funny, because they suck.)

It was something like;

" The other day, I decided to move all my things, my life in a way, into the shed at the end of the garden, and my wife has left. "

I need to get out of the house more, probably.

I translated the french into Portuguese, you ignorant heathens.

From whence it's only translatable back to French or to English, so here:

"L'autre determined day j'ai to dislocate all the things, my screw in whites, the hall in the end of the garden, and my woman left."

"My screw in whites?"...

Portuguese. That would be why I couldn't place it. I am chastened.
