How do you 'Lith yours?

The sun is just about to start rising - it's very quiet out there. A milkman just drove into the close and delivered what must be his only pint of milk (how he expects to get more customers at this hour is beyond me?!).

Okay, enough rambling, how do others use Barbelith? Where do you dip and delve?

I tend to open up Conversation, Comic Book and Film and TV, with the occasional dip into Books, the odd look at Music, and every so often one of the others. I rarely start topics, only occasionally post.

I post impulsively, with no real thought to how I'll come off. For instance, right now I'm utterly plastered. I think it's funny that I come off as dimwitted, often enough, on Barbelith. In real life, I come off as too clever and word-nerdy. Any way to achieve balance, I suppose.

I use Barbelith in the morning with my first coffee. It somehow helps me to make the leap from the bliss of dreams into the harsh reality of the real world. Sometimes.

I too post with little or no premeditation. I tend to think of all the posters on the barbelith as one entity and it scares me a little to meet them in real life as individual beings.

Sometimes I try to use Barbelith to persuede people to come along to shows I'm involved with but it seldom works.

I also use Barbelith to avoid other work I'm supposed to be doing.

I think one day, Barbelith will be the place all world decisions are made and even The Elders will ask here first.
