Ben Stiller's "Mysterymen" was spun off the Carrot, sans the Carrot.
I liked the issue where some mobsters interrupted his block party, and he was so angry he decided bullets were too good for them, so he was going to kill them with GARBAGE! Everyone thought he was going to do something cool and MacGuyverish, but all he did was climb a tree and throw garbage at them. One guy was standing looking up with his mouth open, and swallowed an umbrella, which opened. Another guy was pierced by a tangle of rusty coathangers, and one was immolated by a mattress soaked in lighter fluid. Did the Carrot use excessive force? He gave them everything he had.
