It did ... how was Stewart Lee, NeshXoc?
Rather fabulous in a looking-a-bit-like-Rothkoid kinda way. Lots of jokes obviously reheated from the Edinburgh Festival (the stuff about all the Scottish heroes being gay - William Wallace getting it on with Robert the Bruce) but still excellent. I particularly liked the audience participation bit wherein he demonstrated that Ben Elton was more hated than Osama Bin Laden "because Bin Laden lives his life according to a consistent set of values".
Too short a time with the lovely lovely Barbeloids, but a splendid evening nonetheless. |
