recently I've been into a lot of the riot grrl/queercore bands... The classic stuff like L7, Bikini Kill, Team Dresch, Tribe 8, Butchies, Huggybear, Babes in Toyland, and so on and so on. However, in researching queercore I came across a band with the lovely moniker CWA (Cunts With Attitude). However, I am unable to find any information on this band at all, other then the fact they were a white lesbian rap act. Did they ever release any albums? Does anyone here know where I could find a discography (even discog.org has nothing on this group... ditto for allmusic... Hell, even Googling left me dry, though it did bring up a whole mess of porn). I've only been able to find 2 songs on Soulseek, "Chickenhawk" and "Only Straight Girls Wear dresses", but other then that, nothing else.

Only Straight Girls Wear Dresses was, I think, on the first Sub Pop Comp Kill Rock Stars (Or Rock Stars Kill or Rock Kills Stars - whichever the first one was).

That should sort of fix them in early nineties Seattle, right?

Check out Le Tirge, great stuff, they signed an album for my mate after a concert then threw it out the window when they found out he'd been doing a bit of heckling at the beginning of the concert. He Loved it.

just had to mention that all the 'kill rock stars' comps are on kill rock stars, not subpop...

you'd prolly have the best luck finding info on CWA at the Chainsaw records messageboard. asking donna directly (donna@chainsaw.com) would also probably work.
