Obsessed with Jack O'Connell

I've been in love with the novels of Jack O'Connell. (http://www.noexit.co.uk/oconnell.htm) I've read The Skin Palace, Wireless, and Word Made Flesh. The major problem is that all of his books are out of print in the U.S. and I have found very little information on him or news about any recent writings. Does anybody know anything else about him or read his stuff?

I've read Box Nine (I have a funny reeling it and Word Made Flesh may be the same book under different titles) and I have Wireless but have yet to read it.

Box Nine was fantastic- a meditation on the nature of language packaged as a crime novel. Wonderful.

Jack O'Connell's books depress me after reading them. Not because of the content, mind you. But because I didn't write them.

The only people I've been able to hook on his books are Jerome Charyn fans. Quinsigamond's a nightmarish Vertigo version of NYC in the Isaac Sidel novels.

Word Made Flesh is his 4th book. Instead of street drugs and lingustics, it focuses on Eastern European pogroms, human skin, and Charles Brockden Brown.

Excellent! (I must have just been thinking title-wise).
