Should John Edward be arrested?

(Apparently, the spirits don't want me to post this. I keep getting errors)

I've watched a few of these shows (Crossing Over), and I can think of any number of explanations for this strange thing, but the only ones I can really say makes any sense are that

*he's a total con-man, constantly invading people's private lives for the sake of seeming more realistic (and sometimes, maybe, hiring actors to make his act more fantastic)

*he's psychic, reading people's minds and believing he's communicating with the dead.

*he's really communicating with the dead.

All three of these options make me quite uncomfortable.

Thoughts?

Well, if he is a TOTAL con-man, you can imagine the kinds of things he might need to do to find out some of the info he throws out. He may have techniques I don't know about (I not a con-man, myself, so I'm sure there are a lot of these), but he may have spy equipment looking in on his guests lives. If that were the case, then I'm not sure I like the idea of saying, "well, he comforts a lot of people." I might not mind if he just picked off info that was public record anyway, but he can be pretty specific with the validations.

But that's not even the big issue for me. It's not that I want to punish this guy. It's that I DO care about the truth. It's not that I care whether there is an afterlife or not. It's that, if there's any reasonable way to determine one way or the the other, then we by God better do it. <--- I don't mean that as a justifiable statement. It's just the way I feel. Maybe very silly of me, but, you know. It's just sitting there. And most of the people I know just shrug it off, while the others just accept that communicating with the dead is kind of a cool thing.

why don't you just ask him ? wuht can it hert or better whit call up the sci-fi channel and ask theme thay have to to give you a ansir . give it time my friend the truth has a way of being known sooner or later and as for god no one can tell you if god is real. it's a fath thing the question is do you believe in god ? if you do thin whut dous it matter if there is proof or not you believe that is all the proof you need. better yet man tern off the t.v. the truth and life are waiting out side your door and the ansirs to all your questions are right dowin the street. oh ya there is a movie out about this kind of thing look it up i think it's called leep of fath go check it out it will give you an idea how easy it can be to fake this kind of thing.

I don't think he should be arrested but if he were on fire I wouldn't help him put out the flames. The man makes a living lying to people about their dead loved ones. He's one notch above grave robber. I don't think you can justify that by saying he's giving people peace of mind.

Well, if he's not a con man, he certainly uses the same techniques to elicit information from the audience that a con man would use.
