Let's do the sigil swap!

Okay this is something I’ve been messing around with in my head and haven’t yet figured it out but, why not swap sigils? For example, I want something so bad that my lust for results is fucking up the launch and the same things applies to you… why don’t we just trade sigils and charge. You don’t care about my intent and I don’t care about yours… so it’ll quickly be forgotten and so it manifests… like a secret Santa.

So can something like this work? Anybody willing to trust their magick to another person?

I've been thinking of doing this too. I've never had much luck with sigils so I though that this might be worth a try.

Only problem is that while I reckon Barbelith is full of well meaning nice people, is it a wise idea to charge the sigils of people that you don't know? They could have all sorts of agendas. It's interesting, but perhaps some protections should be put in place first.

I think this site is already doing something similar to what you are suggesting: www.sigilgarden.com

However, a Barbelith members only system might be cool too, though then you may have the attachment of "X is such a cool guy, I hope that sigil I launched for him works." Maybe sigilgarden is better since you don't know anything about the person posting the sigil. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I like the idae but I tend to have the same concerns as Muladreen. How would I know that your sigil resonated with my own intent? I mean, I won't even look at the sigil garden for fear of absorbing some dark nastiness.

I dunno, even sigils I send to other people to launch for me never really pan out... I do seem to have some success doing sigils for family members who need technical help, however.

here's one I made at the start of the year to help with success of my design stuff. If nothing else it'll just add some colour to the thread. I don't know if it really needs charging. I posted it around the web to get some charge. But feel free to add to it. Guaranteed good vibes
