I'm *trying* to connect our laptop and tower in a home network, with embarrassingly little success. Both are running W2K, and are connected to the net by a cable modem and a Netgear WGR614 wireless router. The tower is connected to the router by an ethernet cable and the laptop is connected to the router by a Netgear WG511T wireless card.

If anyone can offer advice on how to connect both, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks very much in advance.
